I made an appointment at Tom's clinic after a friend of mine mentioned using Tom's techniques in her physio practice with good outcomes. I had already accepted the idea that I have chronic pain as far as the way I presented, even though I felt that I have a real underlying impairment and it was not all in my head. During the initial assessment with Tom, he diagnosed my impairment to be on the right side of my body (not the side of my pain). He proceeded to treat that side with some very gentle muscle energy techniques. When I stood up and took a few steps, the only thing I can compare it to is feeling like a new baby. No muscle tension, all the secondary areas of discomfort such as my thoracic spine and neck were relaxed and I had a spring in my step that I did not experience in some time. Correct diagnosis + correct treatment = amazing and fast results. I cannot praise this health care practitioner enough!
