Nice local store. Nice selection of produce. Meat are very expensive here. Over priced. Great Bakery and prepared foods. Large selection of wines and beers. In General nice store.
I love shopping at Heinen's period They have great Produce, Bakery & Meat departments. I love that they even check your eggs when you check out to make sure none of them are cracked. They also bag by hand and put the groceries in your car if you need it. Everyone thinks Heinen's costs so much but if they did a comparison shopping with Giant Eagle, they would be shocked at how little difference the prices are and how much more service and quality you get for that little bit of extra money.

Just walked out of Heinen's Willoughby. 8:15pm. Normally have excellent service, experience. Cashier Emily was borderline rude. Short answers & unfriendly. Made me feel the few questions I asked were an annoyance at best. Then I had barely walked few steps away & heard her making comments to bagger that I was 95% sure referred to me. "I used to when I first started here...but not anymore"- in complaining tone. Hmm. Really? I was nothing but polite & pleasant. Walked out feeling disrespected. Considered talking to someone about it before I left. May drop a note to Manager. Really don't like giving negative review unless compelled to. Heinen's in general excellent.
You can find groceries here you wont find anywhere else. Their house brand isbalways top of the line. Good value too.
